Well somehow your "USB" mic signal isnt being sent to the mix bus in Acid for monitoring.

Why did you have to be different and get a USB mic? It seems like you bought it and didnt read a thing on it but only got it because you thought it would be cool looking.

Acid might not be able to monitor a "USB" mic signal.

Somewhere in your recording software "preferences/options", whatever, are settings for "monitor". You might try playing with these? You may look for "monitor on record" or something??? If it's being recorded you should be able to hear it while recording through your headphones. How??? I don't know...

Since this is a "different" mic, it SHOULD have instructions on how to integrate it into a "normal" system? Maybe an email to Samson, explaining what you're trying to do? Or maybe Samson has a web site forum? Or maybe there is an "Acid" forum?

We ALL have problems like these Ponso, but, in the end, we often have to find the right connections to make and buttons to push all by ourselves - especially as we venture into uncharted territory...
