Anybody have any idea about how to get a schematic for a DIGI001?

I've been researching a little on this mic preamp/compressor. Apparently this thing is incredible, but there are only about 40 of them out there in use right now. Does anyone know how it works? I know it uses (4) 6dj8 tubes (or 6922), and had a PCMCIA slot in the back which held the various compressor pre-sets. I wonder if this is some kind of vari-mu design with a solid state control voltage.

Anyone have a schematic of the AKG SolidTube or know the transformer ratio?

I can trace it but I thought I would ask.

Im looking for a schematic for a quad eight CA 127. Anybody gots? Im looking to turn these amps into mic preamps, has anyone done this? Suggestions on a decent mic transformer? Im sure jensen makes something that will work, but wondering if sowter or lundahl might have one that will work.

Alrighty.

Good news for anyone doing the LA-2A. I've finally worked out a part number with Beede on the LA-2A meter. They will sell the exact same meter minus the Teletronix logo on the meter scale, correct sensitivity, tolerance and scale deflection. Easy to copy the scale considering keith has provided a scan of one on Kruz's site.

Does anyone know why the ac701 is considered one of the best tubes for a condenser microphone? I have read what specs I could find on the web. I can understand why the grid wire exits the other side of the tube away from the other outputs.

Anyone know a source for a mic preamp/eq schematic from a Trident A Range console?

i am working on building (the the best possible degree) a complete set of console manuals ans schematics. these will be in PDF format. (as hard copies would need a small library!). the current focus is on modern (still in production, or just out of production).
