Oftentimes vocals are looked upon as routine in the recording realm. As a result, I feel the effort one puts into details like the choice of the right mic, pre-amp, etc is minimal. But from what I've experienced, vocal recording is an area of huge possibilities. Thoughts?

I recorded vocals lately, and cannot get rid of aggressive high frequencies that weren't there before...
You can hear the main nasty frequency around 3-4Khz and some other ones from1 to 3 kHZ ( audio: Creep_VXREC_WA87ChorusAnnecy 1&2 )
I recorded the same vocals 1 month ago in another flat, and it was fine ( see audio "Creep_VXREC_WA87ChorusDundee").

This is a great new feature! Something i think we have been wishing for, for a long time. Adjust vocals, drums, and bass individually, right from the stereo mix! I skipped the upgrade from ozone 7 to 8, but did take advantage of intro pricing on 9, mainly for this feature. Check it out, seems to work very transparently.

I started working on music again recently and admittedly, I haven't worked much on vocals in my life. The new Tool album has some vocals that are straightforward but I really like the effect. In the verse of the song Pneuma, it seems like the engineer it using multiple takes of the vocal and maybe a really tight reverb with maybe a small reverse reverb.

Hi! i am trying to use the WavesH delay on a couple single lyric words in pro tools, i have the half bar delay on a bus track and am feeding the audio into the aux by automation but when i feed in the audio for the one word i want delayed, it has all the previous lyrics also flooding in. is there a way to only activate the h delay plugin when i tell it to?

Decided to make vocal cover of my favourite singer, and best rock singer of our generation. RIP...
