I've been reading this board for a year and some now, without having had prior to now anything genuinely interesting to contribute - seems you all are asking/answering pretty much the same questions I encounter. But now I think I have a question some of you will find entertaining.
I am in the market of buying some new monitors for mixing all types of music out of pro tools. any suggestions? i don't have an endless budget, but all suggestions would be helpful. Ive been looking at the Adam A7's and the BlueSky 2.1 mediadesk system. what do you think?

Hey guys its lonestar again.
My art tube usb has some annoying problems. I believe it is distortion. It can be described as a distorted beep every 10 seconds or so of recording.
I had earlier fixed a crackling noise with a program from ASIO4ALL but it did not fix the 'distortion' problem.
Is this a USB hardware problem or a faulty usb device?
How about the quality of sound when tranferring wave files by wireless router between 2 computers in same residence? Is this a bad idea?
I have inherited a recording studio project within a youth centre. Currently nothing has been put together but items (still boxed) where brought a couple of years ago. Two items are O1V and HD24. I recognise that a card is needed to connect the two things together using the optical. The MY16-AT card has been suggested.
I'm looking for a sound interface for recording guitars or bass mainly . no Micing stuff. just to create a refference material for our songs by recording and mixing at home and then doing it at a professional studio.
i dont need many inputs. just need a decent quality sound interface so i can hook up my moitors with it and electric or semi acoustic guitars.
Hi. Im lookin for something that I can put my rack gear, mixer, laptop and external monitor, a set of monitors, etc on,
I can only find extremely expensive mixing desks. I want something on a budget, that would be good for a small home studio or dorm room, without spending thousands.
any ideas?
OK, the story here is I was singing at a choral concert which someone else was due to record. Due to a misunderstanding this did not happen and I discovered this about ten minutes before the performance was due to start. All I could find in my car was a single housing fixed XY pair (AT825), a minidisc walkman and one minidisc, not even a mic stand.
I was just at Guitar Center playing those really nice Korg keyboards they have and all of their keyboards were plugged into M-Audio BX5 not the new BX5a, anyway they sounded great, were really loud, and best of all for me nice and small.
Does anyone know much about these monitors?
