I am doing some amateur movie work with a very small crew(me) and a small cast of actors. I would like to be able to remove the directors voice from the finished soundtrack. I'm new at audio stuff but have a good deal of other types of computer editing (video game development).

hello everyone!i am new here,and kind of new in recordings.i have the minimum experience of half a year with DAWs and recording procedure,so i want your help for a demo-like song that me and my band tried to record.
I want to record a bit, but I have zero experience. I am not very good with computers and I don't want to spent too much money (40/50 bucks) I don't plan to do much with the recording stuff. A few things I want to do: record both guitar and voice with a reasonable high bitrate, no background noise and the music will be used as background music, so ... it should sound like that xD.
Alrighty first of all this site seems like a very nice place to fill my void of recording knowledge so any answers helping my current situation would be greatly appreciated. :smile:
Hey. So I'm nowhere near pro with this stuff but I definitely know what I'm doing to a certain extent. I'm just looking for some advice on how I can make my studio and equipment sound better and I figured the "pro" section would be where I'd get the best tips.

I have two questions. Me and my friend have been recording music together for a few months, and we're about ready to record a full length album. We'd like to do everything ourself, because we've already made products on a Tascam digital 8 track recorder that are hi-fi enough for our liking, and we don't want to spend money to get professionally recorded.
