Recording essentials for an amateur?

I want to record a bit, but I have zero experience. I am not very good with computers and I don't want to spent too much money (40/50 bucks) I don't plan to do much with the recording stuff. A few things I want to do: record both guitar and voice with a reasonable high bitrate, no background noise and the music will be used as background music, so ... it should sound like that xD.

Hey. So I'm nowhere near pro with this stuff but I definitely know what I'm doing to a certain extent. I'm just looking for some advice on how I can make my studio and equipment sound better and I figured the "pro" section would be where I'd get the best tips.

I have two questions. Me and my friend have been recording music together for a few months, and we're about ready to record a full length album. We'd like to do everything ourself, because we've already made products on a Tascam digital 8 track recorder that are hi-fi enough for our liking, and we don't want to spend money to get professionally recorded.

hello i dont know which topic this belongs to,
so i am writing in here

i am buying my girlfriend a gift for birthday.
she is a singer that have no time to go record a song in studio
and thought about creating a "studio at home" to record her own tracks.

what programs would you suggest me for piano, mic,vocal recording and
editing ?

Greetings,
I've been writing and recording acoustic guitar songs for some time. However, I don't understand the technical points of recording and often find my songs sounding far from professional. I'm looking for suggestions.
Here are two songs I recorded in the last few months:
