Asus Northwood User Society (ANUS)
Any members still around? Anyone else still using their boxes?
After all these years, I still have my 3 ANUS boxes in use.
Anyone even know what I'm talking about?

*Here's a repost of something I asked about on *PCDAW, and got a couple of replies to. I have *since checked (again) DMA and some other things, *and all the settings seem to be fine:
I've got my first ANUS build together and some issues have come up. Help please?

Since the "ANUS phenomenon" started, technology has advanced in leaps and bounds. So, since I've been away for a while, I'm curious what the current "State Of The ANUS" is. Since Gary's away, maybe you guys could fill me in on your thoughts on the current ANUS.
I am looking to upgrade my ANUS.
Here is my setup.
Asus P4B266-C
P4 1.6a (overclocked to 2.13)
512 PC-2100 DDR
60GB 7200
20GB 7200
Lite-On CD-RW
I have been working on some larger projects and would like to get a litte more power from my system. What would be my best option for an upgrade?
Hi!
Would it be worth bringing my old Anus P3B-F(has a 600E p3) back to life with one(1.4GhZ CPU) of the PowerLeap upgrades?
Howdy all
I have set up my anus p4pe and it is running fast and nice.
a couple of (I hope) small problems.
1.) I get this message on boot up.
"Hardware monitor found an error. enter power setup menue for details. Press F1 or del to enter setup."
when i enter the power setup menu nothing seems to be wrong. The machine is running fine and all.
I am currently running Nuendo and have recently been taking on larger projects with more tracks. I noticed that my CPU meter in Nuendo is starting to peak out around 3/4 full and my program is running a bit slower. This usually happens when I run some power hungry effects such as the Waves stuff. So my question is, what is the best way to add more processing power to my PC?
hi there.
i'm going to by a new computer, i'm quite sure which one, but please comment my list here.
