I am making a few audio clips and i need to know how to fade into the sound (start quiet, and gradually get louder) in Adobe Audition 1.5. Can anyone help? Or do i need to go to a different forum?

Could anyone tell me how to use Adobe Audition 1.5 with Garriton Personal Orchestra. after sequencing. .do you sve the files as a WAV. ---or ? thanks

I know adobe isn't exactly the first name that comes to mind when we think of digital audio. It carries a hefty price tag and I'm sure there are some cheaper programs that are better but say i could get it for $130. Are there any cheaper programs that are any better? I dont have ANYTHING yet and I'm recording with an sm57 with an xlr-TRS cable and a TRS to 1/8 phone adapter.

I am receiving static noise during multi-track session playback on 3 or 4 of the lead guitar tracks. When I mute all but one of the tracks, they play fine. When they're all combined, the static is present. I'm stumped.

I've read that adobe audition was not yet compatible with Digidesign hardware is it really true?...that it needed a special patch or something.

I produce most of music through FL Studio and do the rest with Cubase. I am currently looking into purchasing adobe audition 1.5 and my question is does the program has a window that displays a separate mixing board with the assigned tracks? I called Adobe and they didn't know what I was talking about.

Hello All, First everyone can sleep at night again :D think i have figured out the Proteus X, sounding great! My only snag now is that since installing new card (Emu 0404) & Proteus X i cannot record in Audition. It plays fine so looks like sound card ok, checked the I/P connections etc.

I have a problem when I'm recording. I can't hear the real time effect (reverv etc) when I'm recording vocal. Is there anyone who might now what the problem could be. The effect are there aftervards bit it's a lot more difficult when you are forexample recording a delayed guitar..
