Ive read that using rewire technology that it is possible to connect software that support rewire. Would someone assist me to how it works especially between adobe adutition and Cubase sx as the both support the technology?

Just started using Adobe Audition 1.5 and not sure what file formats to use.
Is WAV a better source as there are more bandwidths available or is MP3 status acceptable ?

Also - How easy is it to use a pre-amp into your pc soundcard to "lift" the quality of vocal recording ?

A friend of mine has asked me to mix in Cubase SX3 a project he recorded in Adobe Audition.

The thing is, the project is very poorly recorded.
what i mean is, no actual set recording blocks. Sets the timer a few seconds before each section and records. Editing is a nightmare to make them line up. (I'm adding my own Drumkit from hell superior drums).

hey guys, i have recently purchased a Samson CO1 USB Condenser Mic and am looking forward to recording. Only problem is, the software i use, witch is Adobe Audition 1.5, doesnt recgonize the mic, and whenever i speak into it, i get no sound.

Of course it's not a "bug", I just used that word to get your attention.

I am currently using FL Studio 5 and Cubase as my workstation software. My dad just bought me Adobe Audition 1.5 for my birthday. Is this a beneficial program for me considering the ones I am already using, (is it a value-add) or can these already do everything Adobe can do as well?

Ive decided to stick to my cool edit 2.0. Adobe behaves as if cool edit is its upgrade, working with adobe is very frastrating, the software keeps on hanging and asking frastration questions, its speed its too slow and 'heavy' damn theyd better think of redooing it I'm yet to compare cool edit and Pro Tools can sometell me some suggestions advice

I have been using Adobe Audition (formerly Cool Edit) for recording and editing. I have become decently efficient at using it, and it gets done pretty much everything I need it to.

Setting ASIO in Adobe Audition and Emu 1212m.
i just can't find it in the help files coming with the software.
any help would be apreciate.tanx.
