Hello.
I just bought an AKG P220 and wanted to try recording with my Focusrite Scarlett solo. But I don't get any sound from it. When I connect my Shure SM58, the recording works just fine. The 48V switch is on. And the Scarlett is connected via a USB hub which also has its own power supply.
Can be the problem in the XLR cable?
Hey everyone, I'm a drummer who at the age of 23 has decided to expand from percussion to recording. The band I'm in, Drums, Bass Guitar, Guitar and Violin.
Okaaaay so I recorded vocals for a song back in December at a buddy's set up (here is the song):
My budget is about $500, and I need a tip for what condenser microphone I should get.
I will be recording acoustic and electric guitar, folk instruments(like the gambian kora, violin/riti), voice, and generally sample noise and sounds.
