Versatile mic for choir or hand-bell amplification

Forums

We are in the market for a pair of mics, something that can both mic a choir and/or hand-bell to provide a small level of amplification.

Our choir and hand-bells set up in the same area (only one will play per Sunday), but our choir loft is not the most friendly for microphone placement because of limited space out front.

Guitar amplification 101

Hi kids. So, my friend from Conrad Amps has built another incredible addition to the guitar amp world.

As best as I can describe it: It is is called 'The Pentode' and it has a dual pentode pre in it. As well as several other layers of slick guitar sound to it.

He's finally building heads only for all you Marshall cabinetted guys out there.

working with violin pickup,Eq and amplification

This is actually a problem concerning live violin amplification..My wife plays acoustic violin in our group (with modified zeta pickup) we have been having problems getting the a and d to cut thru I recently purchased a Kerry King 10 band Eq and whilst this helps add a bit of boast to the signal (I run all Eq on the Pa at 0 and boost up the Eq mids) There seems to be something missing.

bose personalized amplification system

first off, anyone tried the Bose PAS? what do you think?

Also, I'm looking for a little "hand-holding" in the process of purchasing new speakers. If anyone has the time to check out the type of music I play and the situation I'm trying to find the right speaker for, and tell me what would work, I would really appreciate it...
