I currently have a mac G5 with two video screens connected, running Logic Pro. Of course there is never enough screen space and I would like to add a third monitor. The two I have are connected to a video card with two identical connectors on the back, no problem there. To add a third monitor, I am assuming I need another video card.

Hello recording gurus. I've decided to re-build my recording studio. I was initially a PC guy and decided to convert to a MAC. Due to financial setbacks, I'm limited to purchase an older mac. I've came across both a G5 dual 2.3 ghz, 250 gb, and 3.5 gb RAM for $180. Seller used the platform for mixing electronica music. He has pro tools and logic preinstalled.

Im having a -9073 error in PT LE 6.9.2. It says it's about the Hard Drive, it might be too fragmented or too slow. Tha thing is that this problem only happens with ONE particular session, I'm being able to run other sessions with more tracks and plugins without a problem so it's really pissing me off because Im not being able to mix this particular session.

Hi you all,
I am considering upgrading from a G4 to G5 (which one is to be discussed later...), so my Audiomedia III will be have to be dropped except if I chose a G5 1.8.
My questions are, at this time:
1/ which card do you think is the best (rapidity, least latency, sound quality). Within a reasonable price range (200 to 300 $) for a home studio.
