Does anyone know if a Behringer eurorack mx 802A mixer will work with the Audacity recording program...i dont have'nt tried yet but i'd like to know before i got my hopes up and if it doesnt could anyone recommend any software that does work with that mixer?

I've recorded about 20 songs using Audacity from an audio receiver. The highs and mids are good but there is too much bass on each. Is there an effect in Audacity to reduce the bass? It has effects for bass boost but no bass reducer. I tried the high pass filter but the results weren't good. I've reduced the incoming bass for future recordings.

I need some advice about the best connection to use to record audio from my satellite receiver to my PC. I'm using the Behringer UCA202 usb sound card and Audacity for recording and conversion. I've tried three different connections to the PC. I've connected the RCA line out from the sat receiver to the UCA202 but the recordings lack some volume and depth.

I have a multimix16 connected with firewire. I am recording using Audacity. I can record two tracks (which is in stereo which i think is a bit strange, i would expect two mono tracks), but adding any more tracks from the preferences page i get "Error while opening sound device. Please check the input device settings and the project sample rate", which i have done.

I'm trying to use Audacity to record from Vinyl.
I want to try to record from the vinyl in as high quality as I can in Audacity before I convert it.
I've managed to record from it without a problem. But want to change the options to make sure I am getting the highest quality from the vinyl to start with.

Okay, i just recently moved to a different country for work-related resons, and I left my firepod manual with my Cubase serial No. back in the states. I've connected my firepod, and decided to try Audacity for recording my firepod, but I can't seem to record any more than two channels (1/2,3/4,5/6,7/8) at a time.

I finally found a friend with a real component stereo type cassette player; the line out is not amplified. So now I can plug the line out into the mic jack on his laptop and make a recording of what's on the cassette. I am using the latest version of Audacity.

I installed my Tascam US-122, but it's only showing up as a standard USB device. I don't know how I can get this thing to show up as a high speed device. Also, when I use Audacity, I have to record in stereo or the recording is really choppy. It only records a little blip every second or so when recording mono. Garageband seems to be working, but I'd rather use Audacity.
