Going to build a booth.

Hey every1. After some long thought, and research, I have decided, to build my own, iso booth, for drum and vox recording. I want to build this, so, i can take it apart when i leave here.

I have a decent space, for my recording, but have lacked the ability to track drums. For now, i track them at a local studio, where, i know more about what is going on then they do.

recording booth suggestions

Well i got a nother question.

What would i need to construct a simple recording booth?

something that would allow me to scream as loud as i want without the neighbors or people in the next room to hear significantly.

Like what materials? plywood? sheetrock?

What kind of foam and what brand? bass traps, acoustic tiles, etc.

Creating space for VOCALS recorded in booth?

Forums

Trying to get a good process down for my current environment. Vocals are good, signal wise, ambience limited to conditions. My booth is my laundry room adjacent to the garage for seperation which is fine. The booth is lined with a comdination of foam, blankets and homemade baffles. Basically a DEAD booth. I've played with mic placements and such and have a very good core vocal.

Drum recording tips needed for a small tracking booth

Hi,

I'm about to record a drum kit. Since my tracking room is a small one (2.0 m wide 5.0 m long 2.5 m high) there's no other chance than placing the kick drum so close to the wall.

What kind of problems may occur in this situation and what are your recommendations to overcome.

Thanks
