Well i got a nother question.
What would i need to construct a simple recording booth?
something that would allow me to scream as loud as i want without the neighbors or people in the next room to hear significantly.
Like what materials? plywood? sheetrock?
What kind of foam and what brand? bass traps, acoustic tiles, etc.
I dont really know anything about acoustics and soundproofing, i just want to get the best quality i can possible without spending 1000's of dollars

heres a pointer, it would be too long and difficult to read/type everything you are asking. I dont think you realize the scope of soundproofing, and I dont think many people here are going to be able to help you.
