Cascade Ribbon Microphones on Leslie Cabinet
I had to have my ribbons on my Cascade microphones remounted and I think it was from having the microphones to close to the rotating horn on top. There is some wind generated by the horn when on fast speed.

What's the best way to run a long signal from a head amp to an isobox cabinet?
Hey guys, I recently build an isobox for my speaker cabinet so I can crank my tube amp without disturbing the neighbors too much the head amp I've been using it's most of the times just a couple of inches away from the isobox but now I want to move the head to where my control room is at witch is considerably a long distance.
Amp cabinet mic clamp
Hey anyone using these?
Amplitube Uno
It seems like a good idea especially in live recording, just so many places to put mic stands but I was wondering how well constructed they are and what kind of reach and distance they have. I mean can you get the mic wherever you need?
Or what stands are you using live?

Guitar amp cabinet question
I'd like suggestions for a guitar amp extension speaker cabinet that I could use to isolate my Matchless Hurricane (15 amp) or Fender Blues Jr. (after adding a speaker out jack). I'd be using it for jazz, folk, county, and blues right now. This would be used primarily for recording so I'd like it to be a single speaker and either have no grille cloth or a removable grille.

Observation on Micing electric guitar cabinets.
A short time ago, I posted a question about the necessity of recording electric guitar at high SPL (something I had read many times). The responses were in agreement, and several reasons were given as to why a miced guitar amp records better at loud volumes, including the stress of maxed out speakers and tubes.
Big amps, big cabinets, and raising the ire of neighbours.
First, a clarification.
Addition to mic cabinet. Please dont kill me!
