Hello, everyone. I'm hoping someone can give me some pointers. I'm trying to record a slap bass part using a Fender Jazz bass direct input.
But I have no idea where to even start really.
Any help would be appreciated.
I'm just after a clean sound that cuts through without being muddy.

I'm very new to this forum. I have been looking for an Interface for my computer with really good converters, and enough inputs (XLR and 1/4 in.) to allow me to get around comfortably.
Hope this is the right forum for this. I've been going nuts tracking down a hum problem. :mad:
