I was wondering if any of you have used this plugin ? Lately I have been reading about how much EQ plugins suck compared to good hardware EQ's (I wouldn't know, can't afford them) but that some plugs are better than others, so that being said...
All the fans say it has an analog sound,
yet the three or four different mixes I've heard from different users in different rooms all just sound like the top is rolled off in a cheesy way.
Or maybe the mixes I've heard just favored a rolled off top.

I am so glad that these companies are pushing the envelope. The 3.0 functions look incredible, especially with the compatibaility with Pro Tools. The UA digital card is shipping this month, it should be an incredibly powerful tool to mix with 3.0! Between the two cards we should have power that exceeds the power of Pro Tools for less than half :D :D
Hope Fletcher doesn't mind a cross-post - Paris 3.0 is out and it is incredible - a major upgrade! I've started a topic on it on the Paris forum - hop over to DAW World/Paris to discuss or comment! Just thought some other engineers/producers might be interested...

We will be getting the 6000 for our studio. I would like to know how to digitally interface to Paris. Don't care how complex, just want it done. But at no cost to sound quality. And I want to avoid converters as a last resort.
