Hi,
How to record a vocal with pretty smooth and nice High Mid to High?
This is a spin off thread of the "do you use a sub when mixing" poll I posted this morning.
I thought it appropriate to mention and to discuss.
Anyone here mono the frequencies below 260hz in a mix? Well, more like 100hz but that's the default setting in Sequoia.
Hello all,
Question- Does the volume of individual frequencies cause clipping at the master bus or does a song clip because of the summed volume across the frequency spectrum?
I've been wondering this awhile now. On the generic Pro Tools graphic equalizer, the frequencies are unequally spaced. For example, there is a large gap between 100hz and 200hz. But between 200hz and 300hz, the gap is about half as wide. Can someone explain the reasoning for this?
I need to isolate lows, mediums and highs of an audio file, each on a separate track.
(It is intentional to separate these bands from the source)
Been wondering which frequencies stand out best when changing speaker systems, home stereo systems.
I listened to a mix in a different stereo last nite and didnt hear what I wanted.
Because I havent got time to go and try umpteen different stereos beatboxes etc, well I thought someone
Hi All,
Here is the link for the latest free video. This one covers ideas for splitting individual sounds into separate frequency bands. There are also a couple of free racks to download this time.
Any tips on preventing radio frequencies coming in on my microphones when I'm trying to record?
