Ya... I'm finally setting up my acoustic room and need to get the headphones happening in there. My main system is the Dangerous Monitor ST but i'm still waiting on VOVOX cable to enter North America so its on stand still.
What's the best bang for the bucks? I need one who can plug 4 headphones.
for general playing and recording I prefer to use headphones. I like to have multiple pairs available so whatever I'm playing (my drumset is pretty far from my computer) I have a pair right there and anyone else that comes over has a pair to use too.
I have a PreSonus HP4 and I'm convinced it's a piece of sh*t.
Can anyone explain to me how big studios run their headphone mixes.
I am usinig an ART headphone distribution amp that will run 6 Sets of headphones. I am currently running them from the control room to the rest of the studio. I was reading some other threads and they say that running headphones more than 15-20 feet can cause some unwanted noises.
So what's everybody using to distribute their headphone mixes? Right now I have a Behringer headphone amp, and I really don't like the sound quality.
Any suggestions on an upgrade to use with a Digidesign 002?
