Hi,

After many years I am looking to reconnect with around 200 akai floppy disks and have questions if you can advise please.

is there a viable route to connect them  to iMac either with a sampler( sold years ago)?

Floppy disks:what is needed to read them and transfer to the iMac? Or what is needed for Sampler to iMac ?

cheers

Connecting the Mackie 1402 -VLZ3 with an iMac

What is considered the best way to bring audio into the Mackie 1402 VLZ3 mixer from the iMac? This series does not have a USB 2.0 input, so I'm trying to figure out the best set up. I'm going to be bringing pre taped interviews and sounds effects into the mixer and then record in the Zoom H4n. Thanks

A while back I was trying to decide whether to buy a 27inch iMac or a Rain Recording PC. I went with the PC and would first like to say I've been seriously happy with it. However, literally the same day I got it I went up to an open day at the university I'll be starting at in September and guess what they exclusively use for the course?

Please Tell Me What I Need For My iMac

Ok, I want to be able to record professional sounding vocals to lay over instrumental tracks. I have an iMac running on Snow Leopard. I have an Audio-Technica AT3060 Tube Condenser Microphone. I'm not really needing help on the software I need but more like the hardware. Sorry this might not be placed in the right part of the forum. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
