mic splitter using resistors
In doing some research for a mic splitter I'm building it became obvious that I should have one isolated out and one pass through instead of just building essentially 16 y-cables in a box. There are a number of reasons and what I want to know is if there is a way to do it without buying 16 trannies. Transformers are the right way to go but the Jensens are cost prohibitive and so are Lundahl.

ART S8 Mic SPLITTER | Usable for my purpouse?
What i want to do is spliting the signal from the concert scene.
1 to the FOH mixer and 1 to my stack of MOTU 8Pre's.
I have had little luck finding active/passive mic splitters, but i found this one.
Mic Splitters vs. . Y Cables
I've been recording live shows for a relatively short time, with good/great results. Ive been using a mix of Y cables and running my own mics into a digi and octopre.

line vs. . mic splitters and Impedance
Hi all,
I'm slowly getting my head a tiny bit around the impedance thing.
Unfortunately my funds cannot always follow my simple understanding.
For examle:
The palmer pms-02 and pls-02 are both passive splitters, the mic one has an input impedance of 200Ohm and the line one of 600Ohms.

Anyone use a mic splitter?
Here's my problem...When I run vocals though my mic preamp and then take that mono signal to the board, I am not sure how most people go about connecting both left and right inputs to the stereo in and stereo out on the effects processor.
What mic Splitter would work to feed the inputs of my Eventide DSP7000. Or can this be done on a patchbay?
