how do synch my sp16 so that I can trigger loops via my voodoo lab ground control pro footswitch. I can't figure out how to set up my rig to trigger the SP 16 to stop playing with a midi command coming from the GCP foot switch.
i have Yamaha dtx express IV digital drums, and am trying to sync with ableton.do i need user control scripts?how would i find that?
I have a very technically proficient metal band coming to the studio soon (think the Faceless meets opeth), anyway I just switched from Audition to Pro Tools recently and this band has written all their music into Guitar Pro and can export their songs as midi information from the program, therein lies the question:

I'm running Pro Tools HD 2, 7.4. My MIDI I/O has been really finicky as of late and will not sync up when I open Pro Tools. I'm going to head down there soon to try and troubleshoot the damn thing but I thought I'd ask around here first to try and get some idea on where to start or if anyone has any knowledge of this happening to them. Hi guys, I'm using two computers in my studio, one for recording and the other one for virtual instruments, both using Nuendo 2. The controller is conected to the recording PC. Is there a way to sync the tempo in both computers via MIDI?
I would like to know only because I'm going to record on a Pro Tools rig tommorow and I'd enjoy it very much if I could sync a MIDI file to the Pro Tools click!

Hi, i am a newbie to the MIDI game and i need some help recording midi sequences in Sonar with my MPC 1000 and recording interface.
I have a Midi out port going from the mpc's A port into my M-audio firewire 410's Midi in port. I have another midi cable going from the 410's out to the MPC's midi in.
Has anyone experienced this before using a MOTU MTP? I have no problems w/ midi data, just the midi clock distribution. So for the time being, I've substituted using the midi I/O from my Layla card. Ended up having to daisy chain everything that uses midi clock, which was no problem. Has anyone run into this senario yet? :?
