I am trying to select stored drum sets on my D4 using my BandHelper program. I am able to get the two units my iPad and my D4 to talk to each other but I can’t find the numbers of the drum sets to be able to change them.

how do synch my sp16 so that I can trigger loops via my voodoo lab ground control pro footswitch. I can't figure out how to set up my rig to trigger the SP 16 to stop playing with a midi command coming from the GCP foot switch.

What is midi ? For the longest time the midi langauge served musicians even if some weren't aware of it. In this video, I try to demystify what is midi and how it is integrated to modern music.

Hey so Iv been having issues trying to use this allegro electric piano as a midi board. Now online it does say that you don’t need any software to make it compatible. Iv got it connected to my computer with a usb-b and it detects it but when I go into my daw(reaper) It Doesn’t show up in the midi controller

I just purchased the MIDI Mix DJ Akai.

I wanted to know how much power consumption it takes.
I wasn't able to find my answer anywhere.

Please help me.
I want to use it on my keyboard.

Hi all, i just picked up a crappy bottom of the line midi keyboard to suit my broke ass recording needs and obviously the keyboard has no velocity control, when you hit a key, no matter how hard, it comes out the same volume, when recording in pro tools, is there a way to semi mimic the velocity of a piano or midi effect?

Does anyone know of any sample pad devices that I can connect to my SP-404sx. The idea is to use this sample pad to trigger sounds from the SP-404sx.

The sample pad doesn't need to have the capacity to hold sounds, it just needs to be able to be used to control the SP404s pads via MIDI.

Running Cubase AI 9.5 under Windows 10. I'd like to add MIDI plugin effects.

• When I download one, in which folder should it be stored?
• How do I then apply it to a MIDI track, as there are no MIDI plugins installed with Cubase AI?
