Hey forum.
So I'm thinking of getting a mixer for my mics. I'm recording mainly drums, so I need at least 3 or 4 at a time. That's why I need it.
I've found some that I think would do okay, but there's one problem I can't figure out yet, as I haven't actually been able to talk to anyone about it yet.

I have a mac mini. I want to record Sitar, and down the track I will want to use the setup to record stuff like acoustic guitar and possible vocals (but I want to put my money towards something that will make sitar and guitar sound good). The problem with the Mac Mini is that the sound card does not have a line in or PCI. So, I'll probably need a new external USB sound card.

I've been doing the sound mixing for a band who are about to embark on their first tour - Universities, festivals and a couple of support gigs.

Alright, heres the deal. Ill let you know all the equipment we have so you have an idea of what I am using.

I'm looking to find some advice on the best live mixer money can buy for $1200 or less. I have someone looking for one. I was thinking Allen & Heath or Soundcraft, but have no live experience on either of these companies boards.

Hi. . I have a Behringer xenyx x1204usb mixer. When I open up Sonar home studio, it doesn't give me the full 8 track input selection or a playback selection for my mixer. I will put an attachment of what it looks like when I try it. If some one could please tell me how to get the 8 inputs and a playback master that would help me so much. Thanks!

We have a old 12 Channel Yorkville mixer that runs 2 self powered Mackie Speakers in a Worship environment.

Right now, there is a delay switch wired in so that the mixer turns on first, then a half second later, the powered Mackie Speakers.
