So I'm recording some songs and I'm not sure if it's worth to stick to the amp as it's a bit more hassle to record given that it starts making some cracling noises from time to time, and is much louder to record with.
So, today I started my home music production career :D and I bought myself an M-Audio Avid recording studio, very simple to plug and set-up got myself into playing 5 minutes after. The only problem that I have is that when I use guitar rig 5 there's an intermittent sound when it starts usually at 512 samples which makes me put it up to 2048 samples and increase the delay up to 100 ms.
My friend recently upgraded his Native Instruments Guitar Rig from 4 to 5.
He is using Cubase 6 everything is 64 bit. He loads the GR5 as a VST plugin on an audio track for his guitar.
Hi,
I am trying to track guitars into Sonar 7 producer using guitar rig 4 as a vst plugin . When setting Sonar so that i can hear the "distorted amp sim" in real time while tracking it creates crazy latency. I tried taking my latency down to 10 seconds and its better, but still has a lag feel when tracking fast solo style parts.
I have just updated Sonar 8 PE to 8.3.1, and I was working with Guitar Rig 4 Pro.
I own a fender blues deville, fender strat, sm57's and a PreSonus firestudio project..
Even if i had good mic techniques, would guitar rig give me a better sound?
Hi, is it possible to change tuning of guitar in real time using native instruments guitar rig? For example, want to learn song that is down a half step. I want to plug into guitar rig and tell it half step down and off I go. So, this needs to be in real-time. It doesn't look like guitar rig could do this, maybe not possible for processing reasons. Any other programs out there?
I'm using the Line6 Guitarport to input from my guitar. I have Guitar Rig 3 set up for my effects, and I'm trying to record directly into Sony Acid Pro 7.0. Guitarport is set up as my primary audio device, with the line-out on my soundcard going to the "In" of the guitarport, then the output of guitarport going to my monitors.
