What is everyone doing in your lives now? Still recording, healthy and well? What's changed since the crazy world began in 2019 for you?

In my work with young musicians in particular, I have noticed some categories of beliefs that stop musicians from building careers in music.  I'd love some feedback from folks that have build a career of some sort in the music industry of other insights that help up coming musicians.

Hi over there. Well the thing is I've been recording this CD with my band that we "guess" will have the sonic quality to be ready for the market, or at least to sound like a really good quality demo ( hehe), anyway, we are from a small country so and our goal is to get a deal abroad, our music is prog-rock with lots of electronic elements, so it's not what you would call mainstream.

I am a rap artist and produce all of my music at my studio. I am also starting to produce other artists, and not only rap artist. I have a particular beat that I am planning on rapping on. At the same time, I have this other manager that is wanting to put his artist on that same beat. 

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with posting free downloads of demos on their websites that are cover songs.

My group is working on a demo CD of jazz and latin standards. Since we will not be selling this particular CD, only giving it away as a sample of us - what are the copyright issues?

Here's a good article from washingtonpost.com by Don Henley. Mr Henley doesn't offer detailed or concrete solutions, (and most RO 'ers can read what they already know), but instead, its the national exposure the issue gets here thats important, I think.
