has anybody used the onboard MIDI of the P4B266? i've got the midisport usb 1X1 because i thought that was all i would need. as it turns out the midi out on the line6 POD's doesn't seem to work like a midi thru. i'm going to try and contact line6 support on this.
i'm looking at my owners manual (ASUS p4b266) and i'm trying to make sure i understand what the chart on page 2-14 (IRQ Assigments for this Motherboard) really means. before i try and contact ASUS support i thought i'd try here first. i understand what a shared interrupt is but as i look at this chart the top ledgend says A thru H. What does this represent?
I'm curious about how much horsepower one needs. Initially I will be recording
just wondering if anyone has the P4B266 without the onboard audio & USB 2.0 support. It is $20 cheaper and was just wondering if anyone has tried it...
Thanks in Advance,

I'm building myself a daw but i can't choose between these 2 motherboards. Well let me know what you think
Hi all, if been reviewing your posts (present and past with great interest. I've spent several months going from P3 to P4 to AMD XP back to P4. I recently came to the conclusion that for me the P4T-E was the way to go. You've convinced me that the P4B266 demands my attention.
;)
This is an open book test for those who have the Asus P4B266 mother board User Guide and maybe and RME User Manual.
