I USE P4PE RAID MOBO...IT HAS 3 RAM SLOTS AND IT SUPPORTS UP TO 2 GIGS RAM...MY QUESTION IS IT: IF ON THE FIRST AND SECOND SLOTS I USE 2 STICKS OF 512 MB...ON THE THIRD HOW MANY RAMS MAY I USE?

i have installed a Zalman flower cooler on 2.4ghz P4PE.

as i like (and need) a quiet computer, i've set the fan mate to silent mode but the mobo'hardware monitor doesn't like it and detects an error and windowsXP won't boot up unless i "ignore" (F1).

hi...i have one wd400jb for op and one wd800jb for data...i'm wondering which board is better for my drives...p4pe or p4pe raid?...thank you!

does the Asus P4PE/GL/F/S-ATA have 2 channels of ATA133/DMA (primary & secondary) or just 1 (40pin connector)?



from all the documentation i've read, it has not been made clear;

especially it has the S-ATA controller as well.



sorry, i need to make sure because i intend to buy HD's at same time as the board.

I am having a problem booting up my Asus P4pe beta bios probably once in every three times, monitor does not start, and when I reset I get taken straight to the bios and it says that system hung on last boot up due to incorrect CPU setting. The thing is, I am running the whole thing in normal mode with no overclocking.

Hey guys, going to get my ANUS based comp soon, just wondering if you guys could share any BIOS settings or setup tips-I know someone mentioned Flashing the BIOS with an update, anything else?

Can anyone suggest a useful free PC monitoring software download for my new P4 with P4PE MB?

I'm building my first DAW now and I came up with this link at Matrox:

I know nothing about video. :confused: I just want to be sure I get a sensible card for the DAW I'm building. I can't remember the last time I played a game and video quality is not that important to me as long as it's generally acceptable. Maybe I'm wrong, but I doubt I need a high dollar card principally to perform audio tasks. Of course, I don't want visual interference.
