The problem is that the first track IS ALWAYS RECORDED INTO THE SECOND TRACK. What happens from the beginning is this:

I record the first track (rhythm guitar).

Then I record a second track (lead guitar)

My microphone operating voltage is given as 4.5V but my computer on board sound outputs only 2.87V.

The Mic Worked but was not sesiive enough.How can I crank up my on sound Voltage or Can i buy an Sound card capable of outputting 4.5V

Hi! I'm having a major problem with mic.. Im having audio dropouts in my recordings.
I have tried the mic and soundcard on my dads computer and it worked just fine.
So i guess it must be a problem with my PC, at first I thought my USBs wasnt powered enough for phantom power,
but I bought a powered usb hub and it didnt solve the problem.

I have Rokit 8 KRK monitors and they are headed for the trash. Don't be fooled by the cute yellow cones and the lighted KRK logo. It is what's inside that counts. poor sound and technical/electronics issues.

Iam a Sound Engineer

I work for a Audio Label company in INDIA.

I Make Masters CDs ( Audio and MP3) in Nero burning with Minimum Speed (16X). Glass Master Disks and Stamping was done by Third Party.

Now the problem is Few Audio and Mp3 CDs are not played in few cars and music systems.

I am beginner in home recording. I've recently bought a new audio interface, the Tascam US-122MKII, to record audio, guitar and MIDI tracks. I've successfully recorded all but the latter. For some reason I can't get any signal from my keyboard in my recording software. I've connected correctly the MIDI cables also.

I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this issue I'm having as I've never heard of anyone suffering from this particular problem. I have an Alvarez acoustic guitar that, when I plug it into anything (an amp, an interface, a PA), the sound comes out alright EXCEPT for the high E string only.
