this is a follow on the mid side recording question. I have no mid side button on my Behringer mixer are there any alternatives ? I have a splitter in my patchbayrack and so it's just the reverse phase to deal ... would it work if I rewire a cable wrong for 1 side of the stereo image ?

The Firepod doesn't have phase reverse, so I'm wondering if anyone knows of a small phase reverse box that will fit into the chain between the mics and the Pod. At the moment I'm using phase reverse 'after' recording, but for headphone mixes and convenience, I really want to get it reversed before it gets recorded.

I just purchased the trident s20 dual mic preamp, and when i hook up my Neumann 103 it sounds great. One issue is when i push the phase reverse (only running one mono mic) the response seems to change (mostly in the low end). I tried other mics and got the same results. Seems like the condenser mics vary the most.
Does anybody know about a rack mountable unit that will provide phantom power AND phase reverse switching functions? My Aardvark Q10 does not have phase reverse capability.
I looked at the Little Labs device, but it is not what I'm searching for, plus the price is too high. I need a rope and tire solution, not a gilded lilly.
I've got a Soundcraft Ghost console which doesn't have a phase reverse on the tape returns or line inputs. My tape returns are normalled to the board so I decided to wire up some phase reverse points on the bay to use with the insert points. I can't seem to get it to work.
Is it because my insert points are unbalanced?
