OK, phew, after searching for what seems like for ever I am really struggling guys.
I am at heart an old skewl analog boy, so with that in mind, I am used to things like Yamaha SPX 1000, rev 500, Roland SRV and the like.
I don't care how much it costs, just want the best reverb plugin available. What is it?
Cheers!
I'd like to get an idea of what the best reverb plugins out there are. I haven't had experience with very many but a couple of my favorites are the Waves Renaissance Reverb and the SIR1 (which is free, I imagine the SIR2 is better) depending on the impulses used.
So what are your favorites?
I've been told that outboard reverb is better than even the best plugins. But is it *that* much better? If I spend $2,500 on a t.c. electronics Reverb 4000, for example, will it sound a lot better than the best plugin reverbs (like Waves, for example)?
I've been using one called Freeverb. .its free ha. .but yea, I find it sounds a little tin canish
aaanyways, what would you all recommend as the best reverb plugin for vocals?
HI ALL, Need some feedback on your picks for the better plugins, before I buy some .
Im using the standard reverb/ EQ that comes with pro tools 7 at the mo
How do these compare with other plugins and which ones would give me
a warmer yet pristine sound.
I'm using Pro Tools mix and am looking for a better reverb program than what I'm using, lexiverb. I'm looking for some good plate reverbs without buying an emt. Is the plate 140 by UAD any good? I've got the mix system, so I don't think altiverb would work on my system?
Best reverb plugin for vocals? POLL.
I am currently working with a client who is insisting on recording and mixing at 192kHz. Fine by me, but we have done sessions in a couple of studios now with Pro Tools TDM HD rigs and although both of them had the full suite of Sony Oxford plugins the Reverb plug was not available in a 192 session, did not even show up in the list.
