I produce lots of copies of songs mainly for theatrical or stage type shows. Over the years I have a pretty standard workflow, but while doing one today, I wondered if others do it my way or have their own system that might be better?
I always use the original song as a template. I tend to do the trickier bits in short chunks. So playing along with the real thing is pretty critical.
Hi gang.
I started to test Samplitude and I'm stuck on a feature that I can't find.
Usually I check the record level while recording by watching the track level meters or the meters in the mixer.
Hi Guys,
Sorry about the langauge in the tittleo_O:mad:
I have just spent a small fortune on upgrading my little home studio most on the recording side but also on the photography side.
I bought 2 BenQ Designer Monitors for my photo editing, but also because they look so great when in Samplitude:)

Hello, my Pals... :)
So, I've been thinking that I might DL and install a 30 day trial for Pro X3.
From original Kraznet's post:
There's a new Samplitude Pro X3 update available.
You can either log into your account and download it from here: https://www.magix.c…
Hello all! A little question:
When we right click on the AUX slot either in Track Editor or in Object Editor, 3 options appear: AUX/Output (Direct), AUX/Output (Pre) and AUX/Output (Post).
I know and understand very well about 'Pre' and 'Post', but I don't know what mens 'Direct'...
Here's another great vid I found from Kraznet onYT...
This one explains using VCA faders in Samplitude Pro X 2 and later. This is a great video for those who want to know about VCA mixing, or who perhaps have questions about what VCA is and what it does.
Okay, its official. I have Samplitude Pro X3 to give away!
I'm not sure how this is going to go as we've never used this software for a contest but I'm going to give it a try.
(Edit: due to lack of interest with a referral contest idea, this giveaway will be changed to something different and is being discussed below).
I am getting a blue screen during the process of opening an existing project that I haven't been in since last year. All of my other projects open just fine. I'm wondering if it could be a plugin or something. Is there a way to disable plugins during the time you are opening the project? to maybe get around what the problem is and at least open the project with just the raw tracks?
