I'm putting together a recording for a recorded audition for an orchestra.
I will be recording mainly trumpet, but also with piano in parts.
The venue is quite live in acoustic , but not as bad as a toilet!
I will be using Logic Pro 6 with a MOTU 828.
i am in dire need of a reel clamper assembly for a Tascam ms16(1 inch), apparently the atr60 uses thre same part but metal.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to recording, but I got a Yamaha MT120S Four-Track for Christmas, and was getting used to how to record onto it (which was working very well!) up until when I tried to play it back elsewhere.
Help we are confused!
Any of you guys still using a mixer, perhaps you can help.
I would like to find some sort of magnetic or adhesive strip I can use on my mixer that I can place mixer tape/scribble strips on. The idea would be to make up a couple of reusable strips that I could easily pull off and on when switching setups around.
I'm in a little bit of a pickle.
I have the opportunity to purchase a Tascam MSR24 1" machine for about $800. It is mint with zero troubles.
Other forum users out and about have recomended 21T204, but usrecordingmedia.com says to use the 21T404 if recording on 456.
they say that Terry date who produced successful CDs of limp bizkit,deftones etc... used tape for recording or tracking.
therefore i was interested in tape recording.
but i am absolutely novice about tape recording..therefore i didn't buy any tape recorder...
