This company TH-U, which i discovered a couple years ago has really impressed with with their stuff. I love tube amps, especially standing in front of them rocking out! My back, bank account, and neighbors, don't like the tube amps as much. Lol.

How I recorded? Just play thru DI Box
I'm playing a PRS Custom 22 into a DSL100.
Here's how I have it (it might look crazy, but sounds good.) :
Presence: 5
Treble: 1ish
Middle: 2ish
Bass: 7-8ish
Volume: 7-8ish
Gain: 2, or up to 2.5ish for metal.
Deep: On
Tone Shift: Off
Ultra Gain: Off

I've just got myself a mac, some studio monitors and an Apogee Duet 2. I'm just getting started and so many, many things currently confuse the hell out of me (hopefully all will be clear with time though!).
When I play both of my basses (Hofner Icon B Violin Bass & Greg Bennett Bass) it sounds like there is more treble when all of the treble knobs on the basses and amps are off, I also have flat wounds of both of them which made the tone better, but it still sounds off. How do I make the tone quality sound like good?
I made this comparison using my own DI's. You will hear three clips in sequence.
Not really part of a composition, but a buddy of mine said that he thought these tracks sounded 'hollow'. I personally think they sound more along the lines of 'muddy'. I'm not sure though, let me know what you think. You will hear three sections of double tracked guitars with slightly different tones.
