I'm in the process of putting my home studio together, but I'm having a bit of trouble getting two-way communication between my Mackie 24*8 bus mixing board, and a Tascam US-16x08.

I have limited experience with mixing boards, but a friend sold me the Mackie for "an offer I couldn't refuse".

Hello, I need to buy a new interface for my home studio- Normaly things get done one track at a time. but at times a multi track jam would be very helpful. Amazon has two very bad reveiws on this piece of gear. But, they sound like the engineers aren't really pros. Not one of them mentioned Pro Tools 9 or how well this works with that platform.

I am new to audio interfaces and I have a few questions. I know that most of these should probably go directly to Tascam as pre-sales questions, but I'm wondering about the issues in general and how the answers apply to any brand of audio interface.

so basically a few months back i sold my Tascam us 122 (or 144) as i rarely used it and my laptop was sh*t and was rather impractical as i didnt have a desk so i had to use my bed with a laptop and interface which was rather annoying

Based on what I've read here, I've concluded that an audio interface is my next investment.



I don't mind starting with fewer inputs if I can expand later on by either adding another similar unit or additional preamps.

Hi, i just bought a Tascam US-144 usb/midi interface. It all works completely fine, except when i try to record, there's nothing there. i am running a bass directly into the guitar input with all the settings right for guitar, and the signal light is lit when i play.



anybody who knows interfaces well, i would appreciate your help greatly.

i seem to figure out what i need to do to get my mic to work on FL so i can record. please hit me up with some info thanks

Well.. my Tascam fw 1804 has just arrived. this is my first interface. are theyre any other 1804 users out there?



care to leave me some feedback on how this puppy runs? what do you guys use it for.. any defects?
