Wasn't sure which forum to use, but I think I'm in the right place.

Hi, people. this is my first song that I have mixed for an 8 song Rock CD that I am producing, and my first posting here. I need your feedback on all the elements here, as this will be somewhat of a "template" for the other songs on the CD, once I've got this one sounding good.

What is a template?

It is a canvas where you start working quickly on professionally produced projects.

It is a very good educational tool; it can also be used as an inspiration to create new material.

I was wondering what recording software includes a library with (rock) drum-templates?



I use REAPER, and if there is an alternative to having drum templates on REAPER please allow me to know. I've never liked to actually produce the beats myself by using all those fancy "commands" etc.

So this is going to be kind of a confusion question. I am wondering different peoples methods of recording a full album of say a rock band. I suppose there are different ways to approach this on the computer.

This can be stickied, then all the new idiots can just cut and paste it into their own post, and it will save them time.
