I'm new to the forums but I have a problem that is driving me INSANE and I'm really hoping that this forum can provide me with a solution here. First I'll describe my set-up so we are all on the same page reading this.

I have just purchased a Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy 2ZS Platinum sound card and it came with the Steinberg Cubase vst 4.0 Recording Package.

Ja I just did a format of me hard drive and a fresh install of win xp pro, with an install of Sonar 4 PE, heres the prob bob.

I have track bleed.

Track one rocks

track two will record everything the comp is playing

I muted track 1 and ran wmplayer poked record and volia the music from wmplayer was recorded.

I imported an mp3 file of music to track 1.

I recorded vocals on track 2 with a microphone.

When playing back and listening to track 2 by itself, (with the mp3 music from track 1 muted); there is the presence of the mp3 music from track 1 mixed in with the vocals on track 2.
