If you're jonesing for the new distressor and 3 other UAD plugins, seems to be no restrictions, now is a time to grab 4 for $399 or in my case £299.00 I bought the Distressor, Ocean Ways studios, Fender 55 tweed guitar amp and the Dytronics tri-stereo chorus. Wifes going to kill me, but, I had to jump, combined price of those is way more usually.

Would appreciate comments suggestions or alternatives. Im considering switching to UAD Apollo 8 Thunderbolt with all UAD plugins and a new thunderbolt iMac. Presently firewire iMac, Good mics and recording studio. Vocals, acoustics and electrics. Pop country blues jazz

Hello everyone -

2 easy questions :
1. Which pre-amp would you recommend that has balanced inputs and a nice warm sound

2. Would there be any point in using a nice old Glensound mixing console as a pre-amp or would i get nothing out of it soundwise ?
