Hey people. It's been a while. I used to post here a lot back when I was full time in the industry. I'm trying to get back into recording a little bit. It would be great to reconnect with ya'll again. I downloaded a new DAW today and fired up a Scarlett interface that I had laying around. I can't get it to work right. When I record I get this weird electrical sound.
I thought I'd inflict this one on you - just strange rhythms and a tricky thing to tap a foot to?

I'm new to this site and to audio recordings so i hope your bear with me on this one.
For some reason when I'm in fruity loops my microphone picks up buzzing sound and hissing noises.
mxl 770 cardioid condenser microphone paired with a Neewer 1-Channel 48V Phantom Power Supply with Adapter, BONUS+XLR 3 Pin Microphone Cable for Any Condenser and
I started recording with the Zoom H1 but noticed a weird issue when I played it back on the speakers (Macbook Pro)
The right speaker (channel) was way more dominant than the left.

Speakers make weird chirp sound every so often when playing back or monitoring through interface. If I go through the built-in input the speakers work fine. Could it be the interface? Thanks

Hello i am getting into streaming and i have ran into a problem when i try to stream footage the audio has a load of background noise and i haven't been able to fix it. I have tested my microphone on REAPER and it works flawlessly. I am running a Superlux E205 high diaphragm cardoid condenser microphone that is going through a Tascam US-122mk II Audio interface

I made a account here because I can't find help anywhere else.
I have had microphone problems for about a year.
When I touch computer case the noise isn't so bad but still exits, and when I move microphone in some positions the noise changes little bit. Time to time it was so bad that mic didn't pick my voice at all. Sometimes it was like helicopter...
I've been using an AT4040 for years and then all of a sudden yesterday it started giving me this really weird and loud static. I tried swapping out the cable, but still the same result. I tried another condensor and that one worked fine through the same cable, pre and interface.
