1 : I got a guy that comes in to use my equipment 2 days a week...we have an RC-848 for the da-88's/38's. This guy NEVER uses rewind, fast forward or locat, instead he shuttles back and forth using the shuttle wheel...
I am SURE this is not healthy for the machines...am I paranoid?

2: is it possible to change the sample rate of these machines if there is NOT a tape in them ? I use my 88/38's as converters, so need to switcvh between 44k and 48 k often...thanks guys !
