ck the manual that should have downloaded with the software. It will have everything already written out for you (probably some diagrams too) much better than anything we could re-write.

I would like to address the literal question. Can drumcore replace a drummer? Absolutely not. There are nuances to groove that a machine will never be able to replace. Plugins can still do a great job, and groove quantize can get close, but I would suggest finding someone to play on the recordings. They wouldn't have to join the band, just play on these recordings. Just a thought.

I'm not so sure. You could get drumcore, then download one of those digital girlfriend apps for iPhone. Maybe it would do the trick? Yeah, probably not.

I've never been accused of being "nice".....Still aint happenin. Real drummers that actually read my posts know that I spend a LOT of time getting them right and I am one of those producers that understand that the drum sound can make or break the recording. I get GREAT drums and have for many many years.
Being a bass player, I understand drummers and their idiosyncrasies.....and I still think monkeys can do the job! LOLOL!!

+1 to EZDrummer. It is super easy to create very realistic drums with it. Even once you find a real drummer, you can use EZD to create better sounding drum recordings by using drum replacement techniques. I made a short video on YouTube on the subject a while back if you're interested:
