basically me and a mate are starting a band and instead of waiting for a couple months to find other people who are interested and whom will inevitably leave, we are going to record our own ep,
i can play guitar and bass and he does vocals and a bit of guitar, so the plan was to use a plugin for the drums, i researched and found drumcore, the question is can this plugin be used to do whole songs, and how? currently I'm using Cubase le4 and ai4
all your help is much appreciated

I would like to address the literal question. Can drumcore replace a drummer? Absolutely not. There are nuances to groove that a machine will never be able to replace. Plugins can still do a great job, and groove quantize can get close, but I would suggest finding someone to play on the recordings. They wouldn't have to join the band, just play on these recordings. Just a thought.

I've never been accused of being "nice".....Still aint happenin. Real drummers that actually read my posts know that I spend a LOT of time getting them right and I am one of those producers that understand that the drum sound can make or break the recording. I get GREAT drums and have for many many years.
Being a bass player, I understand drummers and their idiosyncrasies.....and I still think monkeys can do the job! LOLOL!!
