Hi! I've got $1200 to spend on some microphones. I'm going to be recording drums, 2 guitars, and a bass at the same time. I'll prolly just DI the bass tho. I was thinking of putting 4 mic's on the drums and then have 1 mic on each of the guitar amps. I also need to buy 5 mic stands and 5 mic cables so this needs to be in the budget. I was thinking of a Shure Beta 52 on kick, a Shure SM57 on the snare, SM57's on each of the guitar cabs. I'm not sure about the OverHeads for the drums tho. RODE NT5's or Oktava MC012's, or a RODE NT4. What do you guys think?
