i stopped by guitar center today to ask them how to set up my tc helicon and this is what they've told me;
use a 1/4 cable wire and connect that from the line input of the tc helicon into the line input of the preamp. connect a dual 1/4 cable wire into the balanced outputs (LEFT/Right) of the tc helicon and into the PreSonus firebox audio interface 3 / 4.
guess what? it still does not work.i figured that line-in doesn't go into line in. so i switched from line in to line out. but still no success.

these are the 3 products that i am using.
http:// (tc helicon voice works)
http://www.presonus.com/products/Detail.aspx?ProductId=15 (presonus eureka)
http://www.presonus.com/products/Detail.aspx?ProductId=4 (presonus firebox with firewire)
the guy at guitar center told me i am suppose to connect the dual 1/4 cables from the firebox (3/4) into the tc helicon's balanced outputs (left/right). also use a 1/4 cable to connect the tc helicon's line input (mono balanced input) into the presonus eureka's line output. the guitar center rep was explaining to me the tc helicon is being used as an "effect" addon. i've searched other forums in regards to my situation and i've found no answers. I even emailed guitar center and its been over 48 hours and i have yet to receive a response. i'm getting frustrated as is by spending hours on trial and error plugins. i've yet to reach success.
yes I had already found the web sites which is why I could use t
in that scenario he is suggesting to use the tc helicon voice works as an effect device in a Send Return configuration with the presonus firebox with firewire
you will now have to be able to sent up the Send Return configuration in the Software Mixer
... it won't just magicaly work because you have plugged in cables
" the guy at guitar center told me i am suppose to connect the dual 1/4 cables from the firebox (3/4) into the tc helicon's balanced outputs (left/right). "
not quite right
dual 1/4 phono cables
this could mean stereo
this could mean stereo balanced
...
either will probably work
BUT
although the the firebox (3/4) can make a stereo send
" into the tc helicon's balanced outputs (left/right) "
is not where you want them to go
AND
the the tc helicon's voice works has a single mono line input
so this can't be correct
Please stop
...
you have just purchased the tc helicon voice works
...
I must assume you have been successfully using the presonus firebox with firewire and the presonus eureka to record and create songs
so

TC Helicon have a few products
you have 3 possible preamps (Mic inputs) that I can see
you have 2 presonus products
tc helicon voice works
Mic input with Line output

( I think this is the PreSonus Eureka Channel Strip )
Mic input with Line output
presonus firebox audio interface 3 / 4.
this is the computer interface ?
various inputs ... digital converter and input to the computer
" i was wondering if i could connect my mic to the preamp and the preamp to the tc helicon. "

possible in theory
but why do you want to do this ?
These products may have OTHER inputs and outputs so as to make use of them in various ways
they may have Instrument and LINE inputs that will allow you to make use of some of the features in each units
