Nice as it is...3 PCI slots only...ugg...not much room to play with...how about induced noise floor levels? As cool as it looks..nope, won't fly as a serious mainboard....

But seriously, what are they up to here? I wonder how far they've gone to be able to claim "audiophile" levels of sound quality. Gimmick or substance? 6 channels and SPDIF? As for pro use, I guess the lack of abundant PCI slots will disqualify it. I'd be interested in reading any reviews of it, and no I'm not gonna buy one, no, no ,no, no, infinitium no. ;)

I've read the output stages go thru the triad tube. I'm not sure if its for the onboard sound only, or if additional sound cards get routed also. For sure it will only be for two channels.

The interesting thing is the amount of special isolating circuitry applied around all noise inducing elements, because of the switched high voltage circuitry for the tube. Good soundcards are less prone to being affected by internal computer noise, but I've seen converters affected with the by-product being digital jitter.
I'm waiting to see if this board actually does a better job with the types of soundcards used in DAW's.
The price is set a little high (I've heard $200 street?)
I wouldn't deviate from the tried and true ANUS configuration just yet. ;)
