Hi everyone
I've got the AKG k240 headphones, which I love. After 1-2 years of using them, I noticed that its left side stops working.
I must shift around the wires on top to get the left side to work again. But as I slightly move, the left side goes off again >.>
Edit: I attached an image (that is now dead) which had the part I am referring that I have to move to make it work. It's not the cable that's damaged, I already tested that.
ANY ADVICE?

best bet is to send them to akg for repair. or get a new set. this is why one should handle hps with care ... it used to drive me nuts when i would put ot 100 dollar headsets all around for a tracking session and the musicians would rip them off with one hand and toss them on the floor ... when that happens i would quietly go out to the live room and replace the $!00 sonys with some $15 cheapos i would buy at R/S ..

well something is shorting somewhere. Have you checked the point where the cable meets the HP speaker?
K240's are pretty notorious for this.
