I want to control my effects units, via a floor board pedal. I have an Eventide DSP7000, and an Eventide Eclipse. I also will be getting the Hughes & Kettner WARP X. It is midi capiable as well.

There are so many to choose from. The Ground control, Roland makes one, Digitech, Behringer, Yamaha, the list goes on and on.
I want to hear from some of the guys who have already been down this road. That way I know what to buy. And also some of them have pedals, which ones are worth a damn, and which are just cheap pedals?

I did some research on midi foot controllers a while back...unfortunately I never followed through and actually made a purchase, so I have no actual user experience to share with you.

After a lot of reading on the net, I concluded that the Yamaha MFC10 was the one I wanted.

It has been a while since I visited the subject so I can't remember all the particulars involved in my coming to this conclusion, just that I formed my opinion partly based on recommendations by people that seemed to know what they were talking about...professional entertainers who are onstage for a living, and require bulletproof shit.

I still intend on buying a midi foot controller sometime in the not-too-distant future, and unless I read something the changes my mind, the MFC10 will be my choice.

well this is one of the times where behringer comes through. i've had a couple of the fcb1010 controllers and they work well and are very flexible. that said, i would probably have opted for the Rolls/RFX midi controller. they have a few and the one i covet (can't remember the model) has about 8 (!) cv pedal inputs in the back so you could control just about anything with your feet. if i only had more feet! (i don't use these for mixing, only for guitar fx or e-drumming stuff).
