Just saw a post about the new Rev 828 on the Unicornation site. Looks pretty damned cool if you ask me.

I'm pretty sure the specs on MOTU's site have the correct info. Unfortunately the big pop-up overview window they've got is too big for my monitor at work. I can't read the bottom couple lines of text.
Now just add another couple months to the projected ship date and you'll have a good idea when they'll go out. REALLY expected 8/6/03 :D

Well, there's one bit of information that is incorrect on the 828...no way in hell they can do 8 channels of 24/96Khz out of one optical output connector!
4 channels yes, but 8...nope!
No other device would see that!
otherwise...it looks cool!
