I've finished 3 home recordings recently. I have only been recording for a few weeks so they're not perfected, but i'm quite happy with them. They're my first attempts and i haven't shown many people so feedback would be fantastic! Please have a listen and give me some feedback! Thankyou very much!

Your songs are very nice. I'm so glad they weren't obnoxious metal worthless nonsense. Thank you. Thank you.

OK here's what's up. Just because you can plug your guitar into a Timpani doesn't mean you should. At least that's what your picture appears like? Otherwise, a guitar recorded direct, as you did, lacks 50% of its sound, if it's an electric guitar. And it appears that all three songs had direct input electric guitar. The acoustic guitar sounded much better. Because..... That's the way an acoustic guitar is supposed to sound. An electric guitar needs its amplifier. I can't even think in your musical genre that software amplifier simulation/modeling, still wouldn't quite be right? You definitely need the sound of a cabinet with a speaker moving in it. Now you have to understand that, small amplifiers are much better for recording. If you know that, you can even use a battery-operated pig nose with a $10 microphone. That would certainly have more substance to it than that rather sterile direct pickup sound. Not so Brink. Crappie amplifier with crappie microphone? Brink!

Well, the English accent is pretty funny. I thought you had some sort of speech impediment at first, but then I saw you were in the UK. 8) I do like Olga from the Toy Dolls, though. You sing better than me, though. Well, you just have a guitar and vox in the mix, and your songs are sorta quiet. I suggest learning how to use compression and limiting very well, because a clean guitar and vox does not really need much EQing. The guitars and vox do sound thin, though: what mics are you using? Maybe you need to put a little bass in the guitar? For three weeks you seem to be doing just fine.
