Check this out, its the processing section of my hybrid rack just completed today ( well if it ever is) 35 years at it and I can honestly say I like it all and it works lol! I mean, I'm very satisfied with it which has only been said a few times over those years. The Bricasti's and the Eventide are something else. Incredible acoustic simulators. They glue everything in the most amazing way. The BAX is the slickest EQ ever and the CRane Song STC-8 is a compressor that will never leave that spot. And the Neos, what a beast.
At the very bottom is the Dangerous Monitor ST. Its the most amazing controller that connects everything from tracking to finishing including online music, CD for comparisons and 3 sets of monitors and a sub..

Sure thing. Here is a before and after. Just started messing with this so I'm sure I will improve things but it gives us a picture of what I'm getting out of this so far. And the spread with incredible imaging and depth. I'm in heaven.

This is the original created by the artist.

Here's my mix. DAW#1 Sequoia 12 > 24 DA >Rack > 2 AD > DAW#2 Sequoia 12. This rack is in the middle. I'm also using an API 2500 > SPL Passeq as the M&S EQ then an SSL G in that order patched in a Dangerous Master that sums it all out to DAW#2 via a Prism Orpheus. Sequoia 12 is the king of DAW's. Love it so much and wish everyone used it because I know all your mixes would improve and the world would be a happier place lol. . Works killer on windows 7. Thats all ya need.

I'm now just starting to remix it so I've added a bass line and an analog synth background. I'm basically jamming to it as I create and search for hooks. I like jamming like this. It creates a live and dynamic energy to my work. After I get a bunch of hooks and flavours, I let it rest for a while and then come back refreshed and begin the journey of remixing. I wish I could spend my entire life day after day doing this.

Hope you like the sound (not the song). NOTE, I using the new Orion 32 USB converter. I love this thing. I'm running 24 ADDA and its been rock solid.

For those interested in how these Bricasti's sound, here is another mix. Its pretty cool building a virtual room, I'm starting to get the hang of it more now. Sadly, the engineers crushed the crap out of this mix, the Vox is clipping but who's listening to that lol.

When I was starting out, I always wished people would post songs and explain what or how they did things so this is for you. Hope you enjoy another example of what these Bricasti's sound like in a mix.

Bus comp used API 2500

Bus comp used Crane Song STC-8 H

Final Mix: (any distortion is part of the original track, not from me). this is just a demonstration of the Bricasti's

Chris...
you know what would be really cool? If you would produce a little video and show your step by step processes while working on a track. Explanations of which piece you are using, what settings you are using, and why.

You've got a lot of knowledge (and some really nice gear) and I think it would be a very cool thing to watch you "in action" as you perform the various processing tasks with the various pieces.

I know I'd really dig watching something like that!

just a thought... ;)

Finally and clean song to work with. However, it was pretty essy so instead of using a de-esser or eqing the entire vocal track I surgically selected all the sss and nothched just the hot parts out. This way you don't effect the rest of the vocals. Its time consuming but it works great. How do you do it?

This time a beautiful example using mono delay that stems into 3 steps of stereo reverb.

Looks like I have a Isochrone 10M master clock coming for the Orion now. They're letting me test it. I hope its as WOW as I've read, and heard from a demo. Incredible difference.
I'll be posting some examples.

Interesting clock box!
Seems like there's been some hyped reviews, bad reviews, skeptisicm and then good comments on that so it will be interesting to hear your opinion of it!
Waaaay out of my price range or my needs but always fun to read and hear about..
